How do you know if you should buy aluminum clad windows, vinyl windows, or wood windows? One look at our selection and one discussion with a team member will make it all clear. New or replacement windows help retain heat and air conditioning, are not drafty, won’t require unsightly storm windows, and many tilt in for easy cleaning.
Our brands include Andersen Windows (We are a Circle of Excellence Dealer!) and JELD-WEN Windows. We carry a nice assortment of wood and vinyl windows in the styles you want like double, casement, awning, and bay & bow windows.
Double-hung windows are great for ventilation. Both sashes in the window frame move up and down. These are a popular choice because an open bottom sash will let in cool fresh air, and an open top sash will allow warmer indoor air to flow out. If you want a smaller amount of fresh air, just open one. No matter what style your home is, the classic style of double-hung windows will fit right in. Screens and window air conditioners can easily be added to the window frames. Intruders will have a hard time trying to break in. There are many options available that will further increase your energy efficiency.
Casement windows crank open outward to the left (FCL) or right (FCR) allowing for full top to bottom ventilation. Their hinges are on one side or the other. You choose left or right depending how you want to direct breezes into your building.
Awning windows are hinged on the top and open outward from the bottom, allowing for ventilation and protection from the rain. They work well in places where ventilation is required, such as in a bathroom or kitchen. Often placed higher on walls for privacy or combined with other windows for a better view.
Bay & Bow Windows
It's all about the view with bay and bow windows. They are created by combining three or more windows together so that they angle out beyond the house wall, allowing more light in, giving you extra space inside your room, and adding curb appeal. We will show you ideas.
Selecting the right window style depends on your home or business. We are here to help you sort it all out and choose wisely.
